Dawn Colangelo, MBA, SHRM-SCP is an experienced, certified, and internationally respected human resources professional who has served business owners and entrepreneurs as their outsourced HR manager for over 15 years.

With a passion for setting businesses up for success, she analyzes current procedures, conducts research, builds strategy, and develops effective policies and procedures that fit each company's individual management style while remaining compliant. She also assists clients with audits, internal investigations, documentation and planning to resolve current or potential legal issues, and unemployment hearings.

Early on, Dawn saw the gap between what business owners needed from HR and what HR consulting and outsourcing actually offered. Larger firms selling “dedicated” HR reps were failing the companies who needed them most. Human Asset Consultants was created to close that gap—by putting a certified HR consultant inside the leadership team.

Her expertise has led her to assist businesses and individuals directly, to write how-to guidance on HR and management topics for one of the world's most popular how-to sites, and to write aptitude assessments used by companies worldwide.
